Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 25, 2010: Twelve Pardhi accomplices of wildlife trader Shabbir Hasan Qureshi were pronounced guilty of abetting illegal trade of tiger parts, by a city Court in Allahabad, today. They have been sentenced to three-years’ imprisonment along with a fine of 10,000 rupees each.

This is the first known instance of clouded leopards being rehabilitated and radio-collared in India.
