Educational qualification:  M.Sc. in marine biology or biological sciences with marine biology/ecology as an option. Knowledge of swimming and strong aptitude for field work.

Desirable: SCUBA diving certificate and diving experience

Duties:

  • Participation in marine biodiversity surveys along Gujarat coast.
  • Preparation of biodiversity inventories, data analysis and report preparation
  • Maintenance of the field station.

Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to handle the donor support services

  • The candidate is expected to liaise with potential supporters and brief them about the organisations work and find common interests between the organisations and supporters priorities.
  • To maintain regular communications with existing donors, respond to their queries, send them regular reports and newsletters of activities where their funds have been used.
  • To mobilse supporters to respond to wildlife conservation and welfare issues.
  • Edit donor reports.
  • Must have excellent English oral/written/communication skills, with exceptional organizational and follow-through aptitude.
  • Candidate should be conversant with MS Office applications, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment.

Experience
The candidate should preferably have one or two years of experience in similar jobs or in sales and marketing

Qualifications
The candidate should be a Graduate / Post-Graduate with good communication skills. Interest in wildlife is desirable.
