A leopard found trapped in a trench at the Doimukh tea estate, Doomdooma is tranquilised and attended to by IFAW-WTI Mobile Veterinary Service (MVS) Upper Assam veterinarian, Dr Abhijit Bhawal. It was released the following day at the nearby Jeypore Reserve Forest.

A Burmese rock python rests at the IFAW-WTI run Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC). It had 'strayed' into a local's house in Borjuri Gaon, near Panbari Reserve Forest. It was released in Panbari, after being declared healthy by the CWRC veterinarians.

A crested serpent eagle from Deopani, Karbi Anglong, being treated at CWRC by Dr Anil Deka. Confiscated from a market, it was found very ill and unable to fly. The raptor is doing well now and will soon be released.   A Chinese pangolin captured on lens post release at Chakrasila Wildlife Sanctuary. This sub-adult male was recovered from illegal possession of people near Kabaitary Protected Reserve Forest office, and was released by MVS Lower Assam.

A slender-billed vulture at the MVS Upper Assam field station. The vulture that sustained injuries due to first flight fall in Talap was treated at the field station and transferred to the Vulture Conservation Breeding Centre. A palm civet kitten is bottle-fed at CWRC. Two kittens were confiscated from a market at Itakhola, Sonitpur by the Forest Department officials, and handed over to CWRC for rehabilitation.

IFAW-WTI veterinarians attend to an injured elephant in Buridihing Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam. The elephant had sustained bullet injuries. It was released following treatment.
