An injured ferruginous pochard, brought to the IFAW-WTI run Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) for treatment from Kaziranga National Park, Assam. The duck was successfully treated and relased.
CWRC veterinarians and animal keepers attend to an elephant calf being hand-raised at the centre. The calf suffers a deformity in its hind leg and has been fitted with an improvised splint to help straighten it, to facilitate its rehabilitation.

Barn owls confiscated from locals in Kokrajhar, Lower Assam. The birds were examined at the CWRC satellite station in Kokrajhar and were released in Kokrajhar, as they were healthy. An injured brown hawk owl being treated at the IFAW-WTI run Mobile Veterinary Service field station in Upper Assam. The bird was successfully treated and released at Nabormulla, Dhola.

A slender billed vulture under treatment at the MVS field station in Upper Assam
A Burmese rock python that was found by locals in Borjuri, near Kaziranga National Park. It was brought to CWRC and examined, and was subsequently released. An injured rare slender-billed vulture under treatment at the IFAW-WTI run MVS Upper Assam field station. The vulture was injured during its first flight. It was treated and released.

CWRC team members release six greylag geese that were found poisoned in Sivasagar, Upper Assam. The birds were successfully treated at the centre and released.
